Kyuramen, Tbaar Opens
The long-awaited grand opening of Kyuramen restaurant was held on Aug 5. This restaurant has over 126 locations worldwide. From their eye-catching and unique decorations and restaurant layout, to their array of menu options, all of it is new and exciting for all of Wichita.
This restaurant is located on 314 N Rock Road, near our own Kapaun Mt Carmel building. It is very accessible, and easy to locate. The menu offers a few different options, from different of ramen, to appetizers such as their honeycomb platter, and many different flavors in deep fried and pan fried dumplings.
Another major attraction to this new location is the tea bar just next door to the restaurant. They also offer a wide selection of drinks to choose from after a nice meal at Kyuramen. From fruit and green teas, to all kinds of milk teas with boba. Their delicious flavors will grab your attention. Milk tea has been a trend that has been growing in popularity recently, so the relevance of both of these foods is still very strong and popular.
Being able to try both of these foods for the first time was exciting. Trying the miso ramen, I was in shock at how good it was. This type of ramen also had a bit of spice to it, but can be modified when ordering. I did not expect the flavors to be so satisfactory. The chicken ramen was not spicy, but was still very tasty.
Their standard in ingredients was clearly high quality. Along with the ramen, I also gave myself the chance to try their deep fried chicken and gyoza dumplings, which are a traditional Japanese recipe. Both very delicious in taste, and also well-presented.
While ordering, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Customer service was top notch, from them making sure my drink was fully filled every so often, to frequent check-ups just to make sure everything was going well. It is a priority for them to make sure the customers are happy and well fed. I felt very welcomed from the moment I walked in from every person on staff. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calming and quiet. Their dim lights and ambient music are a perfect escape from the loud outside world.
Kyuramenâs uniqueness takes it to another level when looking at their table decorations and setup of the restaurant. Their honeycomb style tables draw the eye of the customers, as well as their private rooms with curtains, and their bamboo circle-shaped tables. Set on the table is a wide variety of spices to choose from, along with their designed napkins special to Kyuramen.
The restaurant has a special game where once youâve finished your bowl of ramen, youâre given the chance to win a free food selection on your next visit. A sticker is located on the bottom of every plate, which determines if you won or not.
Not all get lucky, but some are given the opportunity. I was not lucky enough, but I hope to get it next time.
Pricing was in the middle between affordable and high. It may be a bit much for a simple lunch, but perfect for a special occasion.
Overall the restaurant was flawless and I would definitely recommend it. Every aspect of this restaurant, along with the tea shop next door, is very ideal and Iâd say advocating for them is a good idea. This restaurant is perfect for a date night, a girls night out, or a simple friends dinner party. Even now, their menu offers a great selection of options to choose from, but there is still plenty more to come. Kyuramen promises a delicious venture that will leave you wanting for more.
